Build a Website Using Squarespace During this Jargon-Free Workshop – No Coding Necessary

Website building tools usually look completely different to other software most of us use. There are so many features and unfamiliar terminology, it can be tricky knowing exactly what you need to get your web pages looking just right. It often takes hours, making us throw up our hands in frustration, angry about time wasted.

This workshop cuts to the chase. We’ll walk through the basic steps for building a beautiful website. Using a selection of supplied photographs and text, we’ll go through how to use the exact tools you’ll need to get a website up and running.

You will walk away knowing just what you need to build your own website on the powerful Squarespace platform.

You will learn how to:

  • Plan your website to serve your customers/fans
  • Add, edit and move basic pages
  • How to set up a website menu (navigation)
  • Place a logo on your site
  • Use “content” blocks to place photos and text in your website
  • Upload, add, change and remove images
  • Use styling tools to change fonts and colours
  • Add an image gallery
  • Create a contact form
  • Integrate social media accounts
  • Add your own domain (website address)
  • Launch when your site is ready

You will leave with:

  • A website that you can build upon and launch at your own pace
  • A full 6-month trial instead of a standard 14-day Squarespace trial
  • 20% discount off the first year of a Squarespace annual plan
  • A PDF planner to organise your content and schedule your launch (images and text)
  • Video resources and Web Guide to reinforce what you learn

Who is this for?

  • Anyone who wants to build their own website instead of hiring a web developer
  • Creative individuals who want design control over their own website
  • People interested in building a website quickly
  • Curious individuals who’d like to add more tools to their creative skill-set by learning how to use Squarespace
